Accessibility

This page describes the current accessibility support in the BiteDraft app, honestly and specifically, rather than as a general compliance claim. We'd rather tell you exactly what works today and what doesn't than overstate it.

What's supported today

• Text size (Dynamic Type). Most text in the app follows your device's text size setting under Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size, so increasing system text size makes BiteDraft's text larger too.
• System-level settings. Where the app uses standard iOS colors and controls, settings like Bold Text and Increase Contrast are applied automatically by the system, the same as in most apps.
• Multiple visual themes. BiteDraft ships several color themes (light and dark) in Settings, partly in response to earlier legibility issues we found and fixed on lighter themes.

What isn't supported yet

BiteDraft does not currently have VoiceOver support. If you navigate with VoiceOver, custom controls in the app, style and persona chips, icon-only buttons, and similar, will generally not announce what they are or do. This is a real gap, not a minor one, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.

What we're working on

We're in the process of auditing every custom control in the app and adding proper accessibility labels so VoiceOver users can actually use BiteDraft, not just have it technically launch. This is ongoing work, not a single release. We'll update this page as real support ships, rather than move the date without the substance behind it.
